The object of research is forms and manners of combat employment of rocket troops and artillery of the Army. The purpose of research scientific work is an analysis and generalization of forms and manners of combat employment of rocket troops and artillery of the Army in the course of anti-terrorist operation (ATO) in the East of Ukraine during 2014-2017. Methods of research are the methods of expert assessments, comparative analysis, abstraction, system generalization. The results obtained in the course of the research are the following ones: - analysis of combat employment of rocket troops and artillery in ATO in the east of Ukraine during 2014-2017; - proposals concerning the improvement of forms and manners of combat employment of rocket troops and artillery of the Army with taking into account the experience gained during ATO; - methodological textbook "Experience of employment of rocket troops and artillery". In the course of work, on the base of analysis of combat tasks' fulfillment by the joint groups of troops in ATO during 2014-2017, there were revealed the forms and manners of employment of rocket troops and artillery, their role and place in the Ukrainian Armed Forces' operations on the contemporary stage. On the base of analysis of experience of combat employment of rocket troops and artillery the proposals concerning their further development (structure, quantity, organization of training and combat employment in current conflicts) were given.
