The object of research - the quality of drinking water from the water supply line "Dnipro-Kirovograd"; levels of THM and HGA; the impact of COC on morbidity; health risk assessment. Methods of research - search-analytical, hygienic assessment, physical and chemical (including chromatographic), mathematical and statistical. For the first time, indicators and levels in the drinking water of some Kirovograd of dangerous THM (chloroform and bromodichloromethane - 2.5-2.8 and 1.1-1.5 MPC respectively) and HGA levels, which are lower than THM, are determined. For the first time, the health risks from the action of THM of potable water were assessed when they were administered orally, inhalation, percutaneously (total hazard index> 1.0, carcinogenic risk> 10-4), which could lead to an increase in non-infectious morbidity. For the first time, a direct correlation between the excessive contamination of drinking water with lethal HOPs and the non-infectious morbidity of the population of the studied cities on blood diseases and hematopoietic organs, circulatory system, digestive and genitourinary systems, kidney and rectum tumors have been established. Scientifically substantiated use of chlorine dioxide for disinfection of Dnieper drinking water (Kyiv) as an effective measure to minimize the formation of by-products of chlorination (THM, HGA, chlorite, chlorates) to safe levels; the ways of further reducing the load of COCs to water users are determined5481 Product Description popup.authors Кононенко Т.А.
