The analysis of normal and abnormal modes of electrical networks of different levels of the hierarchy is performed. The resonance processes that occur in these modes are investigated. Criteria for adaptive work of devices of emergency automatics on elimination of arc faults has been revealed. An analysis of the causes of the appearance and development of internal overvoltages in electric networks with grounded and isolated neutral is presented. Simulation of quasi-stationary modes of electric networks in the presence of disturbances to assess the effects of imbalance and asymmetry on the state of electrical equipment is performed. Electricity losses caused by its low quality are determined. The method of vector optimization of the mode of electric networks according to the criteria for reducing losses and improving the quality of electricity is proposed. The complex of propositions for optimization of quasi-stationary abnormal modes in electric networks has been developed. The research results can be used in design offices, electric power systems, high current consumers and further research.
