Created the database of indicators of R&D of Ukraine and other countries of the world based on the information of Ukraine's State Statistics Service and OECD. Revealed the structural problems of the R&D of Ukraine by the comparative analysis of the sphere of R&D of Ukraine and other countries according to the system of indicators and classifications used in international practice. Substantiated the direction for the development, prospects, threats and risks of innovative entrepreneurship, grouped and analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of small and large venture business structures. Substantiated the directions of formation of innovation infrastructure of universities. Proposed the methodological approaches to assessing productivity of researchers and the macroeconomic effect of R&D.
