The goal of R & D is the further development of the theory of non-stationary processes of exciting high-power pulses of an electromagnetic field and the conditions for its focusing in free space in order to increase the efficiency of its effect on the semiconductor element base. For effective radiation and reception of ultra-wideband signals, analytical and simulation methods are used. The proposed antenna design with a slit expanding and allows you to create in the equivalent common aperture of the antenna pulsed interference electromagnetic field of a bipolar pulse, which is radiated. A quantitative and qualitative assessment of the effectiveness of the proposed method has been carried out. It is shown that the application of the proposed method significantly increases the range of propagation of pulse signals. So, compared to the radiation level of a unipolar pulse signal, the propagation distance of a bipolar pulse generated in the aperture of the antenna increases 9.5 times, and compared to a monochromatic signal - 2.37 times.
