For this purpose the database of human and natural sciences were used widely. The historical development of population from the different centers of the Northern Black Sea Littoral and their agricultural zones with special accent at Olbian polis and the barbarian surrounding created some new actual questions had to be realized in the project. As a result there were obtained the new knowledge in the sphere of the ancient history and the history of culture of Ukraine in Classical times. During the modern excavations some new discoveries also had to be promoted. They corrected essentially the modern image about the historical process in Classical period and especially, the Greek colonization of the Northern Black Sea region in VII - VIth centuries BC.
