The purpose of the study is to develop a recommendation to improve the management mechanism in the context of modern economic reform. Research method - monographic description, analytical, statistical, table, graphical methods and mathematical modeling. The results of the research are substantiation and optimization of the directions of improvement of the mechanism of management of enterprises. The scientific novelty is to develop recommendations for improving the enterprise management mechanism and includes: a methodology for evaluating the efficiency and effectiveness of the management system; formation of retail tariffs; an assessment of the competitiveness of products; improvement of the mechanism of resource management management; model of express diagnostics; formation of the process of labor potential; formation of an adaptive enterprise management structure. All research findings and their results are used in the educational process. These studies are a logical continuation of the GDR in previous years. Recommendations for improving the enterprise management mechanism can be used at the machine-building and metallurgical enterprises of the city of Zaporozhye. The economic efficiency of the proposed directions of improvement of the management mechanism is to ensure cost savings of up to 8% and reduce the cost of production to 1.8%.
