The new optical-digital method of revealing of subsurface defects in the composite panels and joints after dynamic speckle images of tested surface proposed. The new correlation approach to determination of 3D displacement fields of surface with one camcorder, based on the log-polar Fourier-Mellin transformation, was developed. The portable optic-digital correlator created, which was used to determinate the deformation of wall of fuel tank of carrier rocket and to measure the flexure of reinforced concrete structuresof the pedestrian subway on the "Sviatoshyn" underground railway station, Kyiv. The experimental method developed of determination of rigidity of pin and bolted connections"metal-composite", and also the measurement complex to investigate the mashing and elongation of joints created. By the method of small deformations, the elastic hysteresis investigated and the effects of micro- strengthening of pipe low-carbon steels and alloys examined. It was proved that mechanical characteristics of metals at their hydrogenation during action of small deformations can be the base of real estimation of their remaining life.
