Method of research: a comparative analysis of available methods and means of verification of total stations and light meters was carried out. The methodological basis of scientific research is a complex approach to analyzing the measurement of large linear dimensions with the help of laser radiation. The development and substantiation of the proposed method were carried out using mathematical and physical modeling methods using the law of optical propagation of light.
