Purpose of study: it to determine the optimal schemes for the treatment of thyroid cancer by the criterion of the correlation between clinical efficacy and negative effects of antitumor therapy. Research methods and facilities: are methods of parametric and non-parametric statistics, multidimensional statistical analysis, technology of search of the hidden knowledge, actuarial calculations. Theoretical and practical results: a number of relationships between early somato-neurological complications (anemia, sialoadenitis, heart rhythm disturbances) and the presence of concomitant pathologies and their combinations have been identified. Based on the multistage statistical processing of the received information arrays, direct and long-term results of radionuclide and other treatments have been evaluated and the optimal schemes of treatment of thyroid cancer were substantiated. Novelty: methods of prediction of anemia and treatment of postoperative complications of patients with thyroid cancer have been developed. The effectiveness of the implementation: is to reduce the length of stay of patients in a hospital from 10 to 30 days, which amounts to savings of about 1700-2900 hryvnias.
