N. Sokolovski" popup.description2 Object of research - ways of сonvergence and methods of implementation of international methods for the detection of trace elements in the soil. The purpose of the work is to bring together national and international methods for determining the quality of soils, increasing the informativeness of soil data in Ukraine. Research methods. Laboratory and analytical studies were performed by analyzing soil samples for the determination of the content of mobile forms of phosphorus and potassium according to standardized, traditional methods for Ukrainian analysts by Chirikov and Machigin methods and «new», commonly used abroad by the Mehlich-3 method. Research results. The necessity of attracting international indicators of determining the trophic status of the soil in the national agro-chemical practice is proved. The linear regression equation for converting the results of the determination of mobile phosphorus and potassium (P2O5CyricomidePrMehlich, P2O5MaciginElPMehlich, K2Ochirikov, -KMehlich, K2OMachigin, -KMehlich) was obtained. The soil-climatic conditions of Ukraine have been proposed for the gradation of soils with phosphorus and potassium determined by the Mehlich-3 method. It is proposed to implement the method of determination of mineralization of nitrogen and nitrification in soils according to ISO 14238 to traditional methods in Ukraine for expanding the list of indicators for determining the nitrogen status of the soil and assessing the potential microbiological activity of soils. It is suggested to use the domestic security gradation, which is recommended for the Kravkov method, for assessing the nitrification capacity of soils according to DSTU ISO 14238.Possibility of using nitrate nitrogen as an extractant as 1% K2SO4 (according to DSTU 4729) and 1 n KCI (according to DSTU ISO / TS 14256-1) was used, while for the application of 1 mol / L KCI to determine N-NH4 there is a high probability of obtaining significantly overestimated results compared with the use of domestic DSTU 4729.
