For the first time, based on triangulation data studies, the prevalence and morbidity rates for parenteral hepatitis B and C, the main transmission pathways and risk factors, and vulnerable groups in Ukraine are determined. The decrease in the incidence rate of sexually transmitted infections (syphilis, gonococcal infection, trichomoniasis) in the dynamics of observation (2001 - 2017) was revealed. The newest approaches to improving and optimizing the components of the epidemiological surveillance system for socially significant infections are proposed, taking into account the recommendations and experience of international institutions.
