The goal of the researches is to develop a technology for creating fodder agrocenoses of pasture-hay making using based on drought-resistant perennial forage grasses adapted to extreme climatic conditions with high economic and useful properties for obtaining high-quality fodder. Research methods are the field and laboratory experiments. A technology has been developed for creating fodder agrocenoses of pasture-haying use for feeding sheep with the use of perennial grasses adapted to the extreme climatic conditions of the Southern Steppe of Ukraine. It has been determined that for feeding sheep, the fodder agrocenoses, which are studied and based on environmentally sustainable, highly productive perennial grasses of the steppe ecotype: Psathyrostachys juncea, Bromus inermis Skiff, Middle Wheatgrass (Elytrigia repens), and their mixture with Sandy Sainfoin Ingul'skiy (Onobrychis arenaria) - are the most promising for production using. The created agrocenoses of pasture-hay making purposes with a seeding rate of the grass-legume component 100 + 100% and 100 + 70%, with the observance of technology, will ensure the yield of green mass - 209.4-244.6 c / ha with a dry matter yield - 58.1 -60 3 c / ha, feed units - 31.9-43.1 c / ha, digestible protein - 4.23-5.06 c / ha; hay harvesting - 58.1-83.0 c / ha; profitability with pasture use - 153.1-187.7%, with haymaking - 175.9-290.9% with the cost price of green mass - 12.2-13.8 UAH / c and 40.9-58.0 UAH / c hay. In Ukraine, this development does not exist analogues. It was created for the sheep industry.
