The purpose of the work is the development of the feeding norms for merino ewes and repair ewe lambs according to the modern methodological provisions of the rationing of animal nutrition. The norms are differentiated considering the live weight, the physiological state, the level of productivity (clip of the original wool) and the prolificacy of sheep (for ewes with singles and twins).In the course of the assignment, the norms of exchange energy and crude protein for merino ewes with twins during lactation were developed. Balancing diets according to the norms provides an increase of 16-21% (up to 41 kg) of their milkiness and an increase of 12-18% (up to 270 g) of the growth rate of lambs during the suckling period. It has been established that the level of metabolizable energy and raw protein in the diets of repair ewe lambs Merino sheep breeds when they are grown from 25 to 50 kg must be increased by 20% compared with existing norms (2016).It provides an increase of 17-27% (up to 120 g) in the growth rate of animals, an increase of 7-13% to the clip of washed wool (up to 3.6 kg) and improves the conversion of feed into the products of sheep breeding by 11%.
