The methods of research are: numerical calculations, mathematical and experimental physics, macromolecular chemistry. The research results are: 1) a mathematical model of the directional solidification process which allows to study the stability of the crystallization front has been developed taking into account the factors of the suction of the liquid phase, the thermocapillarity and the concentration capillarity; 2) the analysis of the electrical characteristics of the sensory composite materials under the influence of the permanent or the cyclic mechanical loads has been carried out; the polymeric sensor material for the use in the electromechanical sensors of the control systems and the navigation of a spacecraft has been obtained.
