KUYALNITSKYI LIMAN, HYDROLOGICAL SURVEY, WATER LEVEL, WATER VOLUME, SALINITY, SEA WATER. The object of research is Kuyalnitskyi Liman and Odessa Bay. The subject of research are physico-chemical characteristics of water, water level and amount of filling of the liman, mineralization of water, evaporation, precipitation and other components of the water-salt balance of the liman. The purpose of the research is carrying out research work on the hydrological survey of the condition of Kuyalnitskyi Liman and sea water from the Odessa Bay for determine the conditions for the functioning of its natural systems, the conservation and restoration of its natural resources, prevention of its pollution, contamination and exhaustion, and also determining changes conditions of natural resources of Kuyalnitskyi Liman under artificial sea water replenishment to estuary from the Odessa Bay and scientific definition of concrete terms of supply of sea water in the liman. Research methods are hydrological survey (measurement) with the current regulations in hydrological observations and works; chemical analysis of surface waters; mathematical simulation model "climate-runoff", Delft3D-FLOW; assessment of the components of the water-salt balance (levels and salinity of water, precipitation and evaporation, surface runoff). In work are given the results of measurements on coastal stations in the liman and Odessa Bay (in the section of the pipeline) and the pipeline (from the sea) water level, water temperature, water clarity, color of the water, the water depth, water turbidity (content of suspended substances in water), conductivity of water, water density, dried and calcined residue dissolved substances in water (salinity); at the outlet of the pipeline in the mouths of rivers, bottom valleys and waste water level trays, water temperature, water clarity, color of the water, the water depth, water turbidity (content of suspended substances in water), the conductivity of the water, the density of water, dried and calcined residue substances dissolved in water (salinity), the speed and the direction of flow, water flow and suspended sediment (substances). Assessment of components of the water-salt balance of the estuary is carried out. The comparative analysis with the data of previous years was carried out, as well as the estimation of water losses for evaporation from the water surface of the estuary with increasing water levels, the analysis of the trends of observed and predicted factors for the formation of runoff (precipitation and air temperatures) and the expected influx of fresh water from the estuary from its basin (in the period 2021-2050) under different scenarios RCP4.5. It was performed mathematical modeling of water level and salinity through model of water-salt balance. Product Description popup.authors Барсукова О.А. Бояринцев Є.Л. Вольвач О.В. Гращенкова Т.В.
