Objective: To search and develop the optimum formulations of synthesis methods for studying the structure, physical and chemical features of the new O-, S-, N-containing heterocyclic systems and carbocyclic systems with active functional groups and a wide range of performance to address the actual problems of medicine, biology, nanotechnology and photonics. Methods: Methods for the synthesis of model organic compounds, heterocyclic compounds; NMR, IR, UV, fluorescence spectroscopy; mass spectrometry and gas chromatography; Methods of synthesis at high pressure and under an inert atmosphere; X-ray diffraction and elemental analysis.The methods for the synthesis and functionalization of hetercyclic derivatives have been developed for the needs of medical chemistry, electrochemistry and photonics: (iso)coumarins, neoflavones and N-amino-isoquinolinones N-containing heterocycles; 3-thiazolylchromones, angular hetarenachromones and isochromenes; indan-1-one(ol) with natural amino acids residues; benzo[d][1,2]diazepines; a-amino-g-sultones, b-amino-g-sultams and pyrido-sultams; pyrrolysines and hexahydroindolysines; azaheterocycles, metal complexes, dyes and probes based on cyclic 2-azagetaryl-3-enaminonitriles; benzo[b]furan, 1-aminoisoindoles and pyrimido[2,1-a]isoindole; ATP probes based on 3-hydroxyflavone, Ru-NO-complexes with terpyridine ligands; pyrrolo[1,2-b]-1,2,4-triazoles, amidino(hetero)aromatic acids, fluorinated oxazole-5-carboxylic acids; isomeric 1,1-bisubstituted pyrrazolylcyclopropanes; oxidized form of dithieno-tetrathiafululvalene.The results of research are introduced in the educational process of the Faculty of Chemistry of the Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University.
