PS-17. It was established that the use of AFF from Galega officinalis effectively provides compensation for hyperglycemia, as well as the prevention of oxidative stress and the development of apoptosis in rat leukocytes under experimental diabetes mellitus. Screening studies of hypoglycemic properties of aqueous extracts of the aboveground (leaves, petioles, stems) and root (root tubers and peel of root tubers) of yakon parts have been performed and it is shown that the most expressed hypoglycemic effect is aqueous extracts of leaves and root cabbage of yakon. The expressed antioxidant and anti-apoptotic action of aqueous extracts and suspensions of yakon for the studied pathology have been determined. The combination of hypoglycemic and antioxidant effects of the investigated stabilized substances is the basis for recommending a Galega officinalis and yacon, as the basis for the creation of functional foods or complex therapy products for diabetes mellitus.
