It's allows to improve the accuracy of the reproduction trajectory of the mold movement. The model of the diagnostic system, which allows to estimate the degree of influences of the parameters of the system parts by accuracy of the measured mold displacements, was developed. It's allows to chosing the parameters of the system parts which will be providing a high accuracy of measurements. The prototype of the diagnostic system was testing in the conditions, which closed to real metallurgical plant.
