It is shown that when designing diagnostic systems it is necessary to take into account the physician as a component of the system and the quality of the diagnosis depends on the system's capabilities to ensure the adaptation of the technical means and the doctor and to stimulate its thinking. The only universal method for solving this problem may be the use of a systematic approach, the use of which allows to assess the general requirements for the parameters of physiotherapeutic devices.
