The research focuses on physical mechanisms of structure transformation and phase state of the said materials to determine conditions required to form certain structural and phase states of solids. An advanced plasma electrolytic polishing process is used to prepare samples of metal materials. The description of plasma media behavior in electromagnetic fields is developed. The evolution of structural state of solid-state materials under the controlled external influences was investigated. The external factors that significantly influence the structural-phase transformation of different materials are determined. Possible variants of structural adjustment are described.
