Karazin popup.description2 The objects of study are calcium-phosphate bioactive cements based on metastable nanocrystalline powders ? ?-TCP and submicrocrystalline powders of high-temperature ?-TCP. The subject of the study is the peculiarities of calcium-phosphate cements formation with using of TCP powders from different origin and application of a cement liquid of different chemical compositions. The aim of study is determination of regularities of initial composition and structure of crystallized cements formation from metastable phases of TCP obtained by low-temperature structural transition from amorphous calcium phosphate and stabilization of high-temperature polymorphic modification of ?-TCP by quenching from temperature of 1250 °C to room temperature. Determination of the chemical composition of the cement liquid and the ratio of solid phase/cement fluid. Study of setting, calorimetric characteristics of the process of interaction of TCP powders with cement fluid and mechanical characteristics of cements formed. The dependence of the powder/liquid ratio on the phase composition and morphology of apatite cements based on metastable ?-TCP was studied. It has been determined that the powder/liquid ratio, 1/1,5 ensures complete transformation of ?-TCP into fine crystalline apatite cement. The obtained cement hardens for 15 minutes and has a compressive strength of 3.4 MPa. Product Description popup.authors А. Гончаренко В. Коршак Д. Рохмістров З. Зиман Л. Подус М. Ткаченко О.
