The purpose of the work is research of stress-strain state and providing of durability by creating and applying non-linear models of the behavior of the surface layers material of contacting complex shaped details of military and civilian vehicles based on new approaches and research methods. Research methods are: finite and boundary elements methods, complemented and developed to take account of local contact stiffness of interacting bodies; Hertz method; methods of solving systems of linear and nonlinear equations; methods of convex mathematical programming; variation inequalities. The results of work are methods of research of contact interaction and geometric synthesis of surfaces shape of complex shaped bodies, taking into account physical and structural nonlinearity; the structure and filling of a unified system of solving equations for analyzing the contact interaction of complex shaped bodies and geometric synthesis of the shape of their surfaces, taking into account physical and structural nonlinearities. The experimental data have been processed and an experimental stand model has been developed to determine the contact pressure, taking into account physical and structural nonlinearity. The proposals on methods of calculation of elements of constructions of military and civilian vehicles are formulated.
