The purpose of the project is to develop and improve methods and algorithms, as well as workable know-how for evaluating the thermal and strain state of structural elements of rocket and space technology, and on their basis to improve the method of aligning fiber optic gyroscope, which takes into account data on the distribution of temperatures and strains. Research methods are: methods of solid mechanics and applied mathematics - finite element method, finite differences method for initial problems, nonlinear oscillation theory, mathematical modeling. The numerical estimation of temperatures, components of the stress- state and hidden damage in structural elements and navigational devices of the Earth satellites was performed. The obtained data are used in the developed method of alignment and compensation of measurement errors of fiber-optic gyroscopes. Numerical data on the long-term deformation of structural elements of spacecrafts are obtained. For missile technology the problems of periodic, almost periodic and chaotic forced oscillations and long term deformation of supersonic aircraft panels have been solved.
