Aim of the work is to create an antenna-feeder system through the planar print technology using metamaterial substrate (metasurface). The system is to be compact and to have a low parasitic interaction between the patch and the ground. It is planned the system is also to be a highly directive and efficient to be able used for radar purposes. Additionally, it is aimed to create the numerical approaches for tuning the parameters of real-sized layered metasurfaces by irradiated electromagnetic fields. Methods of the study - the Effective Medium Theory, the Method of Mode Basis. Results of the work: in the R&D Project, a theoretical optimization model for simulation of compact focusing microstrip patches on metamaterial-based substrates was created.
