The conceptual difference between the work performed is the study of the relationship of viscosity and electrical conductivity as additional information on the nature of the connections of structural particles of slag melt. On the basis of analytical and experimental research viscosity and conductivity molten slag ESR process established and developed their relationship criterion - heterogenization temperature characterizing the temperature at which the melt in equilibrium are hetero- and homopolar bonds structural particles of slag. Impact assessment of the structural condition of slag melts in the heat and mass transfer processes in the "metal-slag" for the specific process conditions electroslagremelting and use of the criteria allowed us to establish a rational composition of slag with low oxidative capacity relative to the metal, which will reduce power consumption in the process ESR an average of 15%.
