At the same time, soybean nodule bacteria produced lower amount of extracellular polysaccharides at 1,0 g/ L of nitrogen in growth medium. There was insignificant decrease of the amount of extracellular polysaccharides in bacteria Sinorhizobium meliloti AC88 (analytically selected strain) and S. meliloti 425a while the concentration of nitrogen was increased. The growth activity of alfalfa nodule bacteria was not changed essentially under high dose of nitrogen. When sulphate ammonium (1,0 g/L) was introduced into bacteria growth medium the amount of total protein in rhizobial cells was increased. New Tn5 mutants D36, D37 and D87 obtained from strain B.japonicum 634b formed active nodules on the soybean roots. Their resistance to 0,75 of full nitrogen dose, which was added to plant growing substrate led to the formation of the legume-rhizobia symbiosis with high level of atmospheric nitrogen fixation. It was recommended to use pre-sowing inoculation of soybean and alfalfa seeds respectively by nitrogen resistant soybean strains B.japonicum D37, D87, which have a high competitiveness and nitrogen resistant alfalfa strain S.meliloti AC88, which is resistant to action of high amount of nitrogen in resource-saving technologies under legume cultivation.
