Methods of research:spectrophotometric, atomic absorption spectrometry (flame and electrothermal variants), gas chromatography, titration, ionometry, gravimetry, express definition, cartographic, GIS technologies, remote sensing and ground photography. Main equipment:ULAB S131 ultraviolet spectrophotometer, KFK-2MP photoelectrocolymers, Saturn-3P spectrophotometers with a prefix "Graphite-2" and "C115-M1", "Mikran" hydrocarbon analyzer, Shimadzu GC-17A gas chromatograph, Static installation with Mac-Ben-Bahr scales, electronic analytical scales of brands ABS 220-4, AS 220, Radwag R2KERN, pH-150 MI, conductivity meter "Sension 5", oximeter "Sension 6", satellite navigation devices GPS. Theoretical and practical results:A constantly updated electronic database of complex monitoring of geocomponents KE. The original monitoring data for 1999-2018 are listed in layers: surface waters, bottom sediments, algoflora, soils, plants. GIS has been developed for assessing the level of water pollution, bottom sediments of the Cl, soils of the coastal zone; maps of the level of pollution of the water area and the coast of the with heavy metals have been built; the corrected ground maps of the estuary and adjoining territory. Monographically summed up the results of multiyear complex monitoring in the basin of the KE: the publication of the Encyclopedia of the Kuyalnitsky estuary in 8 volumes has been launched. Volume 1 "Vascular Plants" has already been published in ukrainian and russian; volume 2 "Algae" for publication prepared. Scientific novelty:For the first time, the presence of significant inter-year variability of macro-and trace elements in the components of the hypergaline geoecosystem KE (water, salt, bottom sediment, algae, coastal soil, halophytic vegetation) is shown; an estimation of the law of their accumulation and redistribution in the components under the influence of climatic changes and anthropogenic loading, correlation copulas are set between elements in the separate components of ecosystem and between interyears-old variation of salinity of water in КЕ and dynamics of changes of algal floras in the period of 2001-2018, a taxonomical list of algal floras it is made for centenary period and the modern state of vegetable cover of valley of KE, tendency of their changes is appraised. The complex studies of biological activity are first undertaken after for the spectrum of wide circle of biochemical indexes (vitamins, catalase, proline, flavonoids, composition of lipids, photosynthetic pigments) of the ground sedimentations (peloids) of estuary and dominant in the conditions of salinity of the Salicornia perennans and extracts on her basis. Implementation efficiency.Significant ecological effect will be obtained when creating the Kuyalnitsky National Natural Park, the implementation by the bodies of the State Executive Council of Odessa and the Odessa region of the information database of the complex monitoring of the Kuyalnik estuary in the planning of environmental measures, the elaboration of a comprehensive Environmental Protection and Health Program for the Kuyalnik estuary for 2019-2020 and its informational support; a significant socioeconomic effect will be obtained in the development and implementation of investment projects, regional recreation programs of the resort complex, and the rational use of natural resources Kuyalnik estuary. Sphere of use:Results can be drawn on by executive public authorities, organs of ecological safety of region and city of Odesa, subjects of the regional system of monitoring of environment. The environmental monitoring data, as well as map data, may be used for planning of development of recreation resort"Kuyalnik" and for nature resource management and protection of watershed territory, for educational purpose.
