The purpose of the work is improvement of the methods of information retrieval, processing and transmitting in computer systems and networks. The relevance of research work is connected to the rapid development of computer systems and technologies in every sector of humans' activities, and to the need to apply the systems and technologies in various fields of technology and industry. Research methods include the methods of the theory of vector potential differential equations, Fourier-Bessel transformations, wavelet transforms, Laplace transforms, numerical methods. In result new fast, reliable and efficient tools and methods for obtaining, processing and transmitting information in computer systems and networks have been developed. The developed models, algorithms and methods were compared to the existing and evaluated against declared objectives. Best results were achieved by the following models, namely: the results of computational experimental research of the created models for obtaining information, methods of processing signals using artificial intelligence and fuzzy logic in Defectoscopy, information and measuring techniques. The obtained results in image processing study allow to improve the informational and operational characteristics of existing technical and algorithmic means. Modifications of the existing and development of new technologies for information transfer in computer networks allow to extend the bandwidth of network domains, increase their speed and immunity. The results of the research work have been implemented into the educational process of Dnipro national university. The courses have been reviewed in accordance with the results of the research works are as follows.
