Subject of research - optimization of financial and economic activity of the enterprise as a balance of components of its development. The problem is solved. In today's growing economy, the growth of performance indicators of enterprises is correlated with unstable macroeconomic factors and is determined by the complex internal policy of the enterprise. The key to successful work is to increase the level of competitiveness, growth of business activity and investment attractiveness of business, activation of innovative activity, introduction of know-how and new management systems. This requires a clear definition and formalization of the objectives of the activity in order to reduce the likelihood of making incorrect management decisions. Studying the accumulated experience and scientific substantiation of the means of achieving positive changes in the entrepreneurial field are important in terms of understanding the problems and determining the prospects for the development of the real sector of the Ukrainian economy. It can be a vector for the scientific substantiation of the strategic directions of the transformation of individual enterprises and the assessment of the effectiveness of future achievements. Actual is the search for real ways to manage the effective development of enterprises and constructing a clear, adapted model of a continuous process of optimizing their activities. Research methods. The research is based on complex and systematic approaches, as methods used in the toolkit: abstract-logical, system-logical, monographic, statistical, calculative-analytical, factor, economic-mathematical modeling. The information base of the study consisted of monographs, scientific articles, theoretical and methodological developments of leading domestic and foreign experts in the field of studying issues of improving the work of enterprises, electronic sources, including reporting information and statistics from official sites of state authorities, official materials of the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine, etc. The urgency and scientific novelty of the research is determined by the considerable interest in the outlined problem and in the large number of works, in which the various approaches, methods and tools of improving the functioning of the enterprise are considered in isolation. This also testifies to the need for their coordination, integration within a single process optimization system, and the wide possibilities for the successful implementation of conclusions and results in a practical plane. In the process of research on the topic, the theoretical generalization and substantiation of theoretical and methodological foundations of the financial and economic model of the enterprise are taken into account taking into account the criteria of economic-social-ecological optimization. Its successful application in the conditions of significant uncertainty of economic development, low innovativeness of society, decline of technical level and potential of enterprises is possible thanks to the development and introduction into practical day-to-day activities of effective development management mechanisms based on accumulated positive changes at the enterprise level. The results of research work have been introduced into the practice of some enterprises in Kharkiv and have been reflected in the process of teaching economic disciplines at the Kharkiv H.S.Scovoroda National Pedagogical University.
