Some issues of controlling the sanatorium-resort type and theoretical aspects of cross-border investment in the tourist industry of Ukraine are researched. Using scientific methods, new data on historical aspects of regional tourism, the possibility of using Ukraine's experience of institutional development of tourism in Central Europe were obtained. A systematic analysis of regional tourism in Transcarpathia was conducted and the concept of creating cross-border tourist network was created in the form of association of cross-border HU-SK-RO-UA region. The results of the research will be used during the development and implementation of the strategy of development of regional tourism subjects on the basis of public-private partnership in the framework of frontier international cooperation.
