The aim of a study is an assessment of the application possibility of electroless coating Fe on fined powder particles of magneto-hard alloys (Sm2Co17-based) for nanocomposite obtaining. The phase composition, powders morphology and sintered materials microstructure were studied by X-ray diffraction, electron scanning microscopy, and X-ray energy dispersive spectroscopy methods. An alloy was milled, powder particles were coated by Fe and pressed, and sintered in hydrogen and vacuum. Melt-spun KC25 alloy was milled in a planetary mill. Milling time is 2 h and rotation speed is 200, 300 and 600 rpm. Fe coating duration is 5 and 30 min. Green samples were sintered by next routes: a) recombination and b) disproportionation and recombination of KC25 alloy phases. Homogenous Fe/FeCo solid solution distribution was revealed after powders sintered by recombination. A Fe/FeCo solid solution grain size in the range of 200 - 650 nm.
