Gas-dynamic and filtration processes and mass transfer in complex systems and technological objects of gas transportation and storage. The purpose of the work is to develop and analyze mathematical models of mass transfer in pipelines and natural porous environments and to construct a mathematical model for calculating the optimal parameters of the joint operation of underground gas storage in the system of main pipelines, construction of methods and algorithms for calculation schemes of gas transmission networks. Research methods. The method of calculation consists in applying variational and iterative methods to the formulation and solving of problems of mathematical physics. For this purpose: the theory of functional analysis and differential equations; the theory of errors and the processing of experimental results, methods for solving problems of mathematical physics. An object-oriented approach to software implementation of algorithms is applied. In this work a complex of mathematical models describing interconnected non-stationary nonlinear processes of mass transfer in multi-connected heterogeneous multidimensional environments is constructed and studied. The processes of the substance movement in multi-linked heterogeneous structures in the presence of distributed or concentrated drains and sources (mass or energy) have been studied and classified, as well as the characteristics of complex environments have been determined. The parameters of complex environments that allow to adapt the mathematical model of the built-in network system and the control parameters of the processes taking place in the simulated systems are determined. The corresponding problems of mathematical physics are formulated and methods of solving the formulated boundary value problems of mathematical physics are developed. The results of research are used in PJSC "UKRTRANSGAS" to calculate the parameters of the Ukrainian gas transportation system.
