Of these, 1296 children 5-7 years old, 408 children 10-14 years old, displaced people - 147 children. For the period 2016-2018, the State Institution "Scientific and Practical Medical Rehabilitation and Diagnostic Center of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine" received 983 children with comprehensive rehabilitation assistance. Purpose of the work: substantiation and development of methodological measures (approaches, principles, structure) the formation and correction of psychological, mental, and somatic manifestations in children and adolescents living in the area of ??the antiterrorist operation (ATO). Research methods: anthropometric, psychophysiological, psychodiagnostic, clinical, clinical, laboratory, biochemical, functional, statistical. Equipment used: automated diagnostic complex "Cardio +" (NPO METEKOL, Ukraine), reographic complex REER (Ukraine), BRAINTEST computer electroencephalograph (Ukraine), echoenthephaloscope EES-12 (Moscow), ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus "HITACHI HI VISION Avius "(Hitachi Medical Corporation, Japan), digital photocolorimeter" AP-101 "biochemistry analyzer" Human "semi-automatic (Humalizer, Germany), immunofermental analyzer Еlх800" Vio-tech "(USA) automatic, digital EC" APEL "(Japan) , psychological tests. Results and their novelty: a psychodiagnostic complex for assessing the emotional state of children in the area of ??an antiterrorist operation was developed, which allows timely identification of deviations in mental and physical conditions and preventing the formation of a neurotic personality in the future. Adequate assessment of the health of children subjected to stress makes it possible to predict and prevent the development of neurotic manifestations, which will further affect the quality of life of society. Comprehensive medical-psychological-pedagogical measures objectively establish the integrity of a person who has fallen under the influence of stress-generating factors. The results of R & D were introduced into the medical practice of the State Institution NPMRDTZ of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine. Recommendations on the use of the results of the work: the study showed that the developed complex for diagnosing the characteristics of emotional-volitional, cognitive-cognitive and somatic spheres of children in the area of ??the ATO, allows to establish the current psycho-emotional state, requires the restoration of established deviations. In turn, somatic functional features, vegetative manifestations and complex treatment are diagnosed; an increase in the provision of medical and psychological rehabilitation assistance to children in the ATO zone has been achieved; a system has been developed to prevent the occurrence of neurotic and personality disorders in this cohort. The scientific results obtained will help preserve mentally healthy children in the state, professional and social efficiency of the working-age population, improve the quality of life, reduce psychological tension in society, preserve the state’s workforce, and reduce the material costs of inpatient treatment. Medical effect: timely detection of manifestations of post-stroke disorders in children, which lead to persistent violations of mental and somatic health; organization of medical and psychological rehabilitation assistance for children and adolescents in the ATO zone; effective prevention of mental and psychological problems in a child. Social effect: preservation of the emotional well-being of children and adolescents, improvement of psychological and somatic health, reduction of the risk of development of psycho-neurological diseases, suicides and other antisocial manifestations in children, will ensure the preservation of the strong mental health of the whole nation. The economic effect: reducing material costs of the state for medical measures in hospitals, sanatoriums and dispensaries, reducing the cost of pensions for health reasons, maintaining the health of the future human resources of the state. The results of research can be used in higher education institutions, educational institutions, preschool educational institutions, child development centers, social services working with psychologically traumatized children, as well as in postgraduate training of doctors of health care institutions, postgraduate pedagogical education of educators, practical psychologists and teachers, psychological centers for helping children, in departments and subordinate departments of the family, youth and sports of state administrations.
