Purposes: the determination of the dominant features of initial stages of electrocrystallization, specifically the process of unification of metal atoms into clusters of nanoscale format; the determination of the mechanism of surfactants influence; the studying of corrosion, catalytic and general properties of nanocomposite materials. The processes of electrochemical plating and removing of copper, nickel, tin, cobalt, zinc and their alloys have been studied by cyclic voltammetry and amperometric response methods. Electrochemical experiments were carried out on the PI-50-I Potentiostat-Galvanostat electrochemical workstation connected to the programmer PR-8. The obtained data were recorded on the computer using a digital recorder. A quantum modeling method using GAUSSIAN and GAMESS programs was applied in this research. This study is a follow-up to the researches that have been carried out at the department of physical and inorganic chemistry of Dnipro national university. This study bilt up a theoretical basis for the continuing promotion of theoretical, methodological and experimental researches in the field of electrochemistry. It was shown, that at the initial stages of electrocrystallization copper atoms mixed into nanoscale size clusters through the stage of critical nuclei formation. Methods for the synthesis of polymer films as matrices for the creation of electroactive composite materials have been developed. The process of anodic passivation of tin in the presence of potassium metatinate was investigated. It was shown, that a two-step method of oxide film formation significantly increase its corrosion resistance. Quantum modeling method was performed for investigation of process of cobalt complexes electroredaction. The nature of intermediates and possible chemical and electrochemical transformations was established. The new most rapid technique of estimation of catalytic power of oxides toward oxygen transfer reactions for the present time was proposed. This express-method has been developed through the research of electrooxidation of Mn2+-ions. The application of new method allows estimation and comparing the catalytic performance toward oxygen transfer reactions of different kinds of oxides, including their modifications. Sectors of application: electrochemical and corrosion laboratories of scientific institutions, machine-building and instrument-making enterprises.
