The aim of the work is to improve the methods for determination, separation and pre-concentration of a number of substances in the analysis of environmental objects, drugs and food. The research methods are spectrophotometric. New approaches to microextraction separation and concentration methods are proposed. The statements of the scientific theory of the formation of ionic associates of organic dyes with large anions that are extended to heteropoly anions, anionic metal complexes, and flocculants are formulated. New approaches to the simultaneous determination of reducing agents are proposed. The regularities of the reactions of formation of molybdenum heteropoly complexes of the Dawson structure with reducing agents of organic and inorganic nature, as well as reactions of dimercaptothiopyrones with metals of the platinum group, have been found. The following methods for determination, separation and pre-concentration have been developed: orthophosphate and iodine forms in natural waters and foodstuffs, creatinine by the method of sequential injection analysis (SIA) in urine, ascorbic acid and phenolic compounds in pharmaceutical preparations, bismuth by means of SIA with an external reactor in pharmaceutical preparations, methods for the simultaneous determination of ascorbic acid and phenolic compounds in wines, ascorbic acid and cysteine by the SIA method in pharmaceutical preparations, methods for determining platinum group metals in mine waters, flocculants in natural waters, microextraction separation and concentration.
