The purpose of the research is to establish the principles of the processes of scattering electromagnetic waves of the microwave and terahertz ranges by the elements of the three-dimensional integrated circuits and the Bragg structures and the development of the theoretical basis for the application of the holographic approach to measurements in the microwave range. The method of transmission matrices for the analysis of layered structures; the method of scattering matrices and wave matrices of transmission, methods of discrete Fourier transform and digital filtering are the methods of research. Theoretical and practical results: The ways of reducing reflection from bending and T-branching in coplanar lines for the implementation of microwave three-dimensional integrated circuits are revealed. It is established that the effect of the width and height of galvanic jumpers on reflection and transmission coefficients is not significant in the centimeter range. For the value of the disordering coefficient d = 5%, the Bragg structure becomes almost completely a scattering medium. The technique of measuring the reflection coefficient in a free space based on the use of digital spectral analysis and window processing with varying the distance between sample and the aperture is developed. The design of the 6-port meter is investigated. Novelty: The application of the Fourier transform to the data of multi-probe measurements allowed to obtain an analogue of holography of colliding beams. Uncertainty functions for radar signals in the form of signals with minimal frequency shift are obtained. Implementation efficiency: The results of the research were used in the educational process of the Department of Applied and Computer Radiophysics of DNU. Area of use: The results of the work can be implemented in such areas of technology as non-destructive testing, radar, space and mobile communication, information and computer systems.
