The aim of researches is creation of models, methods and algorithms of forecast of bearing capacity of inhomogeneous elements of shells, plates, beams and deformed solids. Research methods are theoretical, numerical and experimental methods of mechanics of deformed solids. Research results: the iterative algorithms of method of local variations, of forecast of bearing capacity of cylindrical shells with opening of different amount and location, of convergence acceleration of iterative processes and their application for the decision of nonlinear problems of mechanics of shells, of research of the stress-strain state of hollow radial inhomogeneous cylinder, of research of vibrations of visco-plastic beam with the dampers of friction on edges are improved. The novelty of work consists of creation of approaches, methodologies and algorithms for more reliable forecast of bearing capacity and also in receiving new data about the features of behavior of damaged structures. The scientific value of results consists of creation of new and improvement of existent methodologies of theoretical and experimental researches of behavior and optimization of parameters of heterogeneous structures as scientific and methodical basis for creation new reliable models and methods for mechanics of the damaged media. Efficiency of results consists of possibility of their direct application for forecast of bearing capacity of loaded elements of structures with different origin damages in engineering, mining, oil and gas industries and other. Results of researches are recommended to implementation in calculation practice of DB "Yuzhnoye", to "Dniprotyazhmash", to Institute of technical mechanics of NAS of Ukraine and SSA of Ukraine and in the educational process of higher educational establishments.
