The purpose of the work is a mastering of improved production technology of zirconia products stabilized by ~ 10 % Y2O3. The research methods are chemical, petrographic, thermo-mechanical ones. On the pilot production of JSC "The URIR named after A.S. Berezhnoy" during the manufacturing of pilot batch, the improved production technology by means of semi-dry pressing of the zirconia products stabilized by ~ 10 % Y2O3, with indexes of properties that corresponded to requirements of the technical specifications, has been mastered, and these products are intended for plants of single crystals cultivation. In JSC "The URIR named after A.S. Berezhnoy" the pilot batches of following products have been produced: refractory zirconia products stabilized by yttrium oxide, in the form of a cover of 2 type sizes, a cylinder of 2 type sizes, a crucible of 1 type size; vibrated zirconia crucibles stabilized by CaO of 1 type size. The manufactured refractory products are characterized by indexes of properties that corresponded to requirements of the technical specifications and the Buyer, and are delivered to the consumer on the external and internal market. The work shall be continued in the line of further improving the production technology of refractory zirconia products, expanding the volumes of their production and application.
