The purpose of the work is improvement of vibrocast corundumpericlase crucibles production technology. The research methods are chemical, petrographic, physical-mechanical ones. The influence of a polymer based on polyethyleneglycol additive, in comparison with a mixture of additives based on polyethyleneglycol, on flowability of a freshly prepared corundumpericlase mass is studied. It is established that, the highest flowability of the mass is ensured with introduction of the polymer based on polyethyleneglycol additive. By carried out researches of the corundumpericlase mass plastic strength in depending on its moisture, storage time, type and amount of dispersing additive is established that, an intensive process of structure formation observed for the mass with moisture of 4.0 % after 3 hours of storage which makes it low manufacturability. For the mass with moisture of 5.5 % at increasing its storage time values of plastic strength change slightly which indicates an excess amount of water in intergranular space. As a result of carried out studies, an optimum moisture of the corundumpericlase mass and its storage time at ambient temperature + 27 ± 1 °C were established. It is established that, the highest flowability of the mass and sufficient strength of structure with optimum its moisture and storage time are achieved with introduction of the additive based on polyethyleneglycol. The study of main properties indexes of the corundumpericlase samples fired at a temperature of 1450 and 1580 °C is carried out. The samples of investigated compositions in properties indexes correspond to technical conditions requirements. At the same time the samples from corundumpericlase mass with the polymer based on polyethyleneglycol fired at both temperatures are characterized by higher values of properties indexes, which led to better flowability of mass and denser structure of samples formation. In accordance with the regulatory documents requirements in JSC "The URIR named after A. S. Berezhnoy" the pilot batches of high refractory products are out put.
