The purpose of the work is a refinement of alumina-zirconia-silica refractories technology. The research methods are chemical, spectral, petrographic, standard methods for determination of mass's moisture, apparent density, water absorption, open porosity, cold crushing strength, of permanent change in dimensions on heating and thermal shock resistance of refractories. The alumina-zirconia-silica refractories technology is improved. Researches of mass moisture and pressing pressure influence on apparent density of green samples and on main properties indexes of fired alumina-zirconia-silica samples made from a batch with a maximum grain size of 2.0 mm are carried out. The optimum values of mass moisture and specific pressing pressure, providing reception of green samples with apparent density not less 2.96 g/cm3 and fired at 1580 °C samples with apparent density - 3.11 g/cm3, open porosity - 21.1 %, cold crushing strength - 73 N/mm2, thermal shock resistance - more than 20 thermal cycles (950 °С - water) are established. Researches on main properties indexes of alumina-zirconia-silica samples made at the optimum mass moisture and pressing pressure fired at two temperatures are executed. The optimal temperature and keeping time at firing of alumina-zirconia-silica refractories are determined. In accordance with the regulatory documents requirements in the pilot plant of JSC "The URIR named after A.S. Berezhnoy" pilot batches of high refractory products are out put. The work should be continued in the direction of further improvement of alumina-zirconia-silica refractories technologies and expansion of application branches of chromic oxide, alumina-chromia, alumina-zirconia-silicate and alumina-chromia-zirconia-silica refractories.
