The purpose of the work is a production technology development of the non-cement magnesia castable. The research methods are physicochemical, thermo-mechanical, petrographic and electron microscopic ones. The influence study of material composition (type of magnesium filler, silica-containing additive and dispersant) on the properties of non-cement magnesia castable and samples from it has been carried out. As a result of the researches, the technological parameters of obtaining the indicated castable based on magnesium filler, powdered quartz and dispersant additives are developed. The possibility of using as the magnesium filler of waste periclase products, application of which ensures obtaining high indexes of samples strength fired at 1450 °C, is established. The firing temperature of products made of the developed castable and the possible temperature of their application are established. Taking into attention the results of researches, which had been carried out, in JSC "The URIR named after A.S. Berezhnoy" the production technology of low-cement magnesia castable has been mastered. The indicated castable was intended at carrying out tests for vibrate products manufacture for vortex burners lining at one from machinebuilding enterprises of Ukraine. The disadvantages at manufacture of products from the low-cement magnesia castable and in the process of their exploitation weren't observed. Product Description popup.authors Костирко І.Ю.
