The purpose of the work is to find out the features of interlingual and intercultural communication at the level of various linguistic units of the Germanic and Slavic languages. Comprehensive method includes the system of coordinated pedagogical research methods: 1) theoretical methods - the analysis of scientific linguistic, psychological and pedagogical, methodological literature on the problem of research, the method of theoretical modeling; 2) empirical methods - pedagogical experiment, testing, questionnaires, interviews of teachers and students, observation, attendance and analysis of studies, analysis and generalization of pedagogical experience.
