The study of physical and mechanical properties, structural state, heat resistance of drip-free coatings. The structure, physicomechanical properties, and X-ray phase analysis of droplet-free coatings from high-entropy alloys with optimal compositions of CrFeCoNiMn, AlCrFeCoNiCu and TiіrHfVNbTa have been studied. The possibility of obtaining high-entropic carbides and oxides is shown. The hardness of high-entropic carbides AlCrFeCoNiCu reaches 41-43 GPa. The carbide coating TiZrHfVNbTa has a hardness of 48 GPa, and its coefficient of friction is 0.14-0.16. It is shown that the hardness of the high-entropic oxide coating reaches 27 GPa with an elastic modulus of 270 GPa. It was determined that after annealing at 1100 ° C for 300 minutes in air, the hardness of the coating decreased to 17 GPa. The study of friction characteristics showed that the coefficient of friction of a high-entropy oxide coating at low sliding speeds ranges from 0.045 to 0.132, depending on the hardness of the coating.
