A computer model of the CLINAC 2300CD accelerator section has been developed. This model allows calculating the beam parameters in different operation modes of the accelerator. The possibility of improving the energy efficiency of the high-voltage power supply of the klystron, increasing the flexibility in the choice of irradiation parameters by changing the duration of the microwave accelerator power pulses and the current pulse of electron sources, increasing the average beam power is shown. Calculations showed that the average power of the beam at electron energy of 10 MeV with the new CPII Inc VKS 8262F klystron can reach 10 kW, which allows, in particular, sterilization of medical and biological objects.
