New data on irradiation characterization at the NSC KIPT CU-E.I.T.F. facility were obtained by means of the multi-scale computer modeling methods and a phenomenological description of the results of a priority experiment on the study of corrosion and oxidation of advanced alloys for a Generation IV SCWR reactor with supercritical water coolant under simulation irradiation at the LUE-10 electron accelerator was developed. In order to take into account the human factor and the specificity of the design and design basis accident of Generation IV HTGR based NPPs, a software simulation model of the dynamics of the so-called "panic mob" in a confined space in the presence, in the room, of danger and safety zones was developed and implemented. The possibility of optimizing the ways to transfer personnel to a safe state was demonstrated in test calculations. To improve the operation of terahertz gyrotrons for biophysics and medicine, a realistic 0.4-THz design of the gyrotron at the second cyclotron harmonic with a wide frequency reconfiguration band has been optimized. A resonator profile has been found that reduces the field localization region and the diffraction Q-factor of the competing modes and selectively increases their starting currents several times, which results in increasing of the device efficiency in the working mode. Experimental studies of the dispersion of carbon material depending on temperature and heating time under 20 kPa average pressure in the cavity of a heating element were carried out at a thermal vacuum installation. It was shown that a nanographite with a grain size of 10-40 nm can be obtained by means of the developed thermal vacuum method.
