The basic mechanisms of such influence are determined, ways of increasing the functional properties of composites are formulated. Significant potential of CCC as a material for power plants capable to withstandsignificant thermal, chemical and mechanical loads is shown. It is shown that the basic corrosion, erosion and sublimation stability of CCC obtained using TG-CVI methods are primarily realized by the highly ordered crystalline pyro-carbon matrix. It is shown that the type of carbon fiber used for the production of CCC does not play a significant role in the overall corrosion resistance of the composite. It has been shown that CCC has a unique temperature stability, is able to work at temperatures above the melting point of boron carbide, and not only maintaining its integrity but also capable of containing a melt of boron carbide.
