The report presents three possibilities for the numerical solution of the wave propagation problem in the presence of a zone of lower hybrid resonance. The patching technique is developed, which allows to perform the correct calculation of high-frequency (HF) fields and to determine the specific absorption in the zone of the lower hybrid resonance. The application of the patch makes the Maxwell equations regular, leads to the disappearance of the fine field structure in the region of the lower hybrid resonance and avoids false solutions. This technique is implemented in two self-consistent models of high-frequency plasma generation: the TOMATOR-1D code for the tokamak and the STELRF code for the stellarator.The method of thermosorbtion, designed to measure the level of contamination on the walls of the internal vacuum surfaces of thermonuclear installations, has been improved. A device was developed for the operative estimation of the level of impurities, the rate of gas evolution, and the number of monolayers on the surface of the high-vacuum chamber of the tusatron Uragan-2M in its various sections. In this device, thermodesorption of gases from the surface of samples (probes) from stainless steel 12Х18Н10Т is carried out at their heating to a temperature of 250-300 ° С. The probes are made, calibrated on a special stand and installed in the vacuum chamber of the Uragan-2M. The system of heating probes, mass spectrometric equipment and a system for recording gas streams that are desorbed from the surface of the probes during their pulsed heating are developed and installed.
