The purpose of the work is to investigate the erosion of the anodes of the electrode system, depending on the parameters of the discharge circuit and external conditions, and to develop a model for calculating the mass erosion of the anode. Research methods - analysis, physical modeling, statistical processing of results, mathematical modeling. Experimental studies of spark erosion of the anode under electric discharge in water were performed. For this purpose an experimental methodology that allows investigating the influence of the initial and external conditions (hydrostatic pressure, specific conductivity of the working fluid, length of the intercolectrode gap, reserve energy) on the mass erosion of the anode has been developed. It is established that the main factor that determines the size of the anode erosion is the integral of module of the discharge current. According to the results of the research, a semiempirical technique was developed, by means of which one can determine the massive anode erosion for one discharge depending on the parameters of the discharge circle, the external conditions and the geometry of the electrode system. This semiempirical technique showed a satisfactory coincidence of the calculation results with experimental data. Product Description popup.authors Жекул В.Г. Смірнов О.П. Тафтай Є.І.
