A series of experiments on crushing granular blast furnace slag and brown coal on the basis of laboratory equipment were conducted. The modes of electrodischarge processing, which provide a fine disintegration of non-metallic materials required for obtaining a water-mineral suspension are defined. The modes of electric discharge disintegration: brown coal, specific energy consumption of 0.1 MJ per 1 kg of material at charging voltage of capacitors of 50 kV provide the disclosure of merged particles of minerals and coal, dispersion and homogeneity of the water-coal suspension (with particle sizes <80 microns). When electrodischarge disintegration of granular blast furnace slag, the specific energy consumption of 0,3 MJ per 1 kg of material at a charging voltage of 40 kV capacitors ensures the production of a material with a regulated fractional composition, activation and homogenization of the water slag suspension.
